E46 330 getting restored and supercharged

Hey guys.

So some of you read the post of me having a disagreement with a paving not so long ago, since then I have been on the lookout for a nice M but haven't found a proper specimen that I felt as comfortable with as the 330i.

I have decided to keep the 330 and it's currently in for all necessary repairs, except for the little bit of bodywork the only other damage was the crossmember that has now been replaced.

I acquired the supercharger from BillyBob that he had on for sale, once again always a pleasure to do business with him. This along with a meth kit is whats going into the engine hopefully after 3 weeks.

Who is doing the install? Sir greek aka a1exander, couldn't think of anyone better to do this considering the meticulous effort he puts into what he does. So needless to say I can't wait

Yes that's exactly it as I won't be running a very high boost

No matter what level of boost, you should always use an intercooler. Meth kits are only there as a safe guard and should be used in conjunction with an intercooler.
With a meth kit only you run the risk of running out and getting heat soak and detonation which will destroy a motor pretty quickly. If you can't get meth you can't drive your car, its not the answer...

Definitely agree with Gizmo, Unless you have a massive supply of meth, and can guarantee that the pump will never fail, an intercooler is a good idea.
