Dare I ask where you taking her?

No idea yet. Had a theory to just take it to Edenvale thinkink they might be extra carefull considering the uitkak I gave them last time and me being there the whole day

Shaun I would reconsider the edenvale location as I have been under the x5 and I promise you it does not look nice.

Some of the wiring will need to be re routed and in all likelyhood they will need to make new holes in the pipes to accept the 02 and cat sensors.

Awesome progress Shaun.

If you have had a bad experience once, i would not suggest going back unless the company has proved that they are worthy of your business. If they have fixed all previous issues at no cost to you then I might consider them, otherwise I am sure there are other installer who have assisted fanatics.

I know Francois uses Cheetah exhausts in PTA North, closer than Edenvale i think.

Pho3niX90, hi, just to get the record straight. You are going to turbocharge this beast and not supercharge it, right? The thing you had in your hands there is a turbo. Sorry, my bad, looked like a turbo from here but on closer inspection says Vortex (supercharger)

Its a vortech supercharger. From what I can tell its a V4.

They do look like turbos.

Goodluck with the build. Been watching for updates.

Diesel Fan is correct, it is indeed a Vortech, but it cannot be a V4. The V4 is too big for a 3 litre straight six that revs up to 6500.

RGM only use V2 sci chargers on BMW's. The V2 charger requires oil cooler and oil return line.

I think Phoenix can confirm for us, it will state the charger type on the blue metal tag on the top of the charger.

Hey bud, it's the centrifugal supercharger, they do look like turbos

Correct. It's the V2

Okay, zaust done. The engine mounting was kaput, was changed and now need to do the gearbox mounting as well because it also looks completely gone.

I went for the 57mm pipe and the Tnt branches acquired from moranor. The car screams / growls like a monster, very loud but acceptable and makes my foot even more heavy! The power increase is extremely noticeable especially from standstill.
