maybe try get a sensor from a scrap yard if you can... you dont want to spend 1.5k on it then find its not the problem...

yeah thats why i want to eliminate the fuel pump first, then ill know its the sensor. just came back from the stealers... fuel pump R4942.00 :argh:

I think you can get a fuel pump for about 1.5k also at other places... try get a sensor from the SY seeing as it worked for romeo...

if the sensor fixes it and breaks again later least you will know what part to buy...

yes, sorry for the late reply, been busy...

i changed the fuel pump and it started up no problem :thumbs:
stealers wanted R4942.00 :argh:

but i managed to get one from a spares shop for R680 :thumbs:

Hectic, that markup is insane! Agents wanted R9000 for the power steering pump on my E46, got it master Parts for R1000!!!

we should make a point of sending them the receipts of the things we buy maybe they will get the message...

Its insanity, I remember the power steering pump also cost me around R9k and the cooling system around 8k. Luckily I had a warrenty which paid for most of the stuff. If I add up all the costs at dealer prices I could probably buy another e46
