E46 318i What Mileage before major engine work

Was just wondering what sort of mileage can one expect out of a 318i before needing the engine to be opened for valve stem seals , bearing, rings etc. Mine is sitting on 165k. Does not use oil or smoke and still pulls quite strong. I change my oil every 10000km. I know its only a matter of time before i need to at least do valve stem seals. Whats the highest mileage engine out there that has not had major engine work done as yet?

Well i sold mine with 420 000km on the clock. Computer box started giving me problems so i fixed it and let it go.
Engine wasn't opened and car still drove strong.
Sad part it i still see the car often
