Hi guys.
Having some issues with my E46 318i. The water pump started making noises recently and was replaced with a new one. However, now after driving for a while it seems to be "spraying" coolant. Now what I mean by this is there is a clear spray line going across the engine bay from left to right. Starting from the spark distribution box on the left up onto the air filter box. Also, there seems to be a lot of coolant collecting on the block below the pump's pulley. Am going through a lot of coolant, 1 litre in 6 days pretty much. Have been to the mechanic now 7 times afterwards to find out what the problem is, and he claims that the water pump is fine and replaced it with a second one. However, same problem. Its getting really frustrating. Could the problem be with the seals and o-rings? Thanks for the help, would be really appreciated.:ty: P.s Pressure tests show no loss in pressure whatsoever.:nonono:
