i just bought a beautiful 318 steptronic e46 2003 bmw, drove like a dream... till yesterday when while driving the car just died no warning lights nothing. then when i tried to start it again it started but when i put it in Drive it stalls, i tried it 5 or 6 times and stalled everytime, so i phoned the dealer and recomended leaving it for a few mins then trying again and it worked i drove it home no prob. which made me thought that maybe he knew about the problem. but anyway cars going back monday so they can have a look.
now when i got it yhe oil light flickered red when idling which looked like a loose connection, cause the car has oil in and has just been for a oil service. but since the car stalled yesterday i see the EML light on when i switch the ignition on but it goes off as soon as i start the engine. is that normal?:nonono:
