Imagine if you were not OCD and felt comfortable putting dirty parts back in...youd probably be done with the project by now :ROFLMAO: not that that is an option of course :cool: This is going to look and feel brand new
Never understood guys who slap things together.
The extra effort to clean parts although small has major results

Today was D day for bearings.
I have been putting it off for a while as it is a tedious task at the best of times.

The main bearings were superb not that I expected anything untoward given that the engine was quiet when I stripped it.
Given that the car will eventually be sold I wanted to make sure that all would be well in the future.

New main bearings fitted.
I chose NE bearings which are of German origin and manufacture
A closer look of the visible big end bearings equally shows no concerns.
Fitted a set of big ends from agents as those are specifically designed for the S engines and aftermarket do not go to the same lengths as OE design.
