I have no idea how to even explain it, The accelerator cable gets stuck if I tap it when its stuck it reverts back to normal, and idles correctly, The car makes this Ticking sound the whole time, when I rev it it seems to go away but returns as the revs come down, but this is from within the car while driving it, it seems to pull quite well although it seems to stutter with power while reving up but once it gets to around 3000rpm and above it starts pulling hard, its got a brand new clutch.
I have only had the car for a day, I drove it that night home and noticed these problems, I was aware that it had a few problems and im willing to fix them, Apparently the Tensioner pully or what not is fonked and getting replaced, not sure if that would cause this noise? As soon as I get the car back I would like to send it to BMW to at least have it properly diagnosed as im sure they will be able to properly pick up the problems?
It isnt bent valves or something is it? and if it is something like that how much would BMW charge to redo the motor, rough estimate?
