Pull your car away from these guys as fast as possible. Put it on a flatbed and take it to Savspeed.

To be honest I am begining to get put off german specs forever! they look cool etc etc, but the price it costs to fix a car from the 19footsakes is starting to take the piss, its cheaper to buy a newer car like a e46 m3 and get it with a warrenty and smile all the way into the sunset than deal with problems like this. I mean seriously is this right? money like this for a car from 1994??? M3 or not the car is fooken ancient stone age technology compared to a new bmw! I rate when I get the car back im selling it unless its effing 120% perfect and puts me back in my seat like a mofo when I accelerate! cause after all the money ive just pumped into this scrap metal I am not impressed! People who treat such beautiful cars like this should be shot with a shot gun limb after limb till there is just a torso left and then dragged by a rope with the car down the highway till the car also falls appart that way they can both die together and the car doesn't become somone elses problem!

Thats the only reason i sold mines. The upkeep to keep it in pristine condition is insane. My last 2services and some general maintenance cost me close to R20k....i still miss the sound of that flat 6 going through the gear's though...:cry:

E36's are serious when it comes to servicing.
And I still have more to do, in order to make it perfect.

2007 = R3800
2008 = R5700
2009 = R16300
2010 = R37000
2011 = R7000

And the only thing that has ever broken on my was a radiator neck.

Lol, i feel much better now after reading your amounts, but i have to admit, before i sold the car and was tallying up everything i spent, it felt like someone was operating on my heart, using a butter knife to dissect me open.........PAINFUL!!!!!!!!!

My only word of advice is preventative maintenace as opposed to reactive!

Haha those prices are fucked up! After reading this nonsense I think its best to sell it. before I end up also spending R69 800.00 on a car from the stone age. its a pity I love the look of the car but I think an E46 M3 still looks better and has better shit in it! and It probably started looking even better after all the shit this car is putting me through! and the warrenty the dealership provides is also sweet!

I will agree though, the sound this car makes is like a super car sound in a sedan! its quite something!

Yes that was all preventative maintenance you see there.
2010 was brakes, shocks(coilovers), steering rack, pullies, timing chain tensioner, 2 tires and some a couple other things here and there.
I know im probably leaving out alot here. I dont keep great track of small things I buy online.

ok well they dont seem that bad other than the fact that from 2009 to 2010 he spent R53 300.00 on preventative measures? Thats some serious cash being spent on the vehicle there. you could buy a descent second hand e36 328i with that money lol

Well at least there are some positives.......well done on getting the shocks sorted. :thumbs: so you say the Monroe are a good buy?

Monroe were definately a good buy, the car felt like it was on rails for the 10 mins that I drove it back to the mechanic...but yea definately worth the money spent, R3900 with fitment and alignment! front only though, but allot cheaper than any other place I went to.

Well if i had to I would do it again. Hard to find looked after coupes these days.
Anyway this car has been retired now, not using it as a daily anymore so things will wear out at a much slower rate.

Oeff I forgot to add the underpanels I got last week. That was a R2000 kick to the nuts for stuff you cant even see.
