Hi there,
Whitch dealership did you contact?
Phone Lea Haese Pretoria, (012) 366 3000, ask to speak to Costa, or Koos at the workshop.
give them your info and ask them for advice on what needs to be done.
Also I am sure if you ask them nicely they will do a full checkup for no charge.
Hope it helps.

dude, those R30 plugs arent the best for your beemer. R80 isnt actually a bad price, if theyre the right plugs. I remember the Bosch Super 4's were like R220 for 4 at one stage. but GUD filters are good. They even make oem filters. get the right plugs (preferrably Bosch, but NGK are ok).

I know that im going to get kakked on for the NGK statement, and im sure that others have used them with no issues, but this post was about my opinion. To each his own.

Thanks for personal opinion, the statements about NGK are true though, they are good plugs, and they do make replacement (if I may call it that) for Bosch. But i think it comes down to being 'brand specific', since Bosch seems to be the plug BMW would use since the management is Bosch.

Have you tried those NGK performance plugs?

im sure that NGK are good plugs. hell, ive used only NGK in my corsa.

Im not saying be brand specific. just make sure that you get the quality you need (it may do the job.... but for how long).

Once again, Im not saying that NGK are bad, rather only asking the quality and life span question. if the NGK work just as well, and last as long, and are cheaper(this is obvious in this case), then its a no brainer.

@lev - Also, i love those rims on you beemer. theyre among my favourite set of bmw rims.
