Please note that he was using a front wheel drive car in that video so do not just floor the throttle in a bmw as it will not bring your car back into a straight line!!!

Hehehe, Ye i caught that after watching that video i ended up doing little baby flicks in my 19yr old Citi but i didn't mind because i knew if it started getting hairy i could just floor it and the back would fall in line... I'm guessing with the RWD you'll be spinning out if you floored it in a slide? (turning your sideways bimmer into a backwards bimmer)

also, do you guys know what the deal is with the push button climate control and turny nobs climate control? I looked at two 96' model and they had different consoles... unless one of the owners was lying :/

Early 328 sport models came with LSD,standard came with an open diff and later ones had some form of traction control.If you're lucky the one you looked at had an LSD which IMO is superior than other forms of traction control

Is there a way to tell the difference when i'm looking at the car or will i have to dig through the paper work? I'll admit i think i'd prefer LSD to and old traction control, at least from what i've heard.

hehe thanks unfortunately i can only get about R45k cash, so it is limiting my choices a bit :dunno:

The later models with the digital aircon controls have climate control as well, which I don't think the models with the manual controls have.

I went and had a look at one yesterday and it went like a dream (there were a few issues like there were no tools and the left back window didn't open) in the book it says it is a BMW e36 328i MEX

What does the "MEX" mean?

also there is a "///M" on the gear lever
