The weber IDA is a good carb for small applications , I would stick with the holley for performance and economy . The webers are not popular and jet sizes and settings are likely to keep you busy . I enjoyed the dcoe on the twin cam Alfa Romeos years ago .

The racing Capri Perana (Bazil Green’s) had a windsor 302ci engine just like this one built by Weslake Gurney eagle in the US and they had 4 x Weber IDAs fitted. That is the same effect as having individual throttle bodies by today’s standards. So yes, they do have a performance advantage, but not feasible at the price.

Looks less saggy.
I see you were in the perfect location to set off some car alarms with your machine

It's not much but the raise is enough to not get fender rash  it passed the drift test

It's raised by about 15mm in front and about 25mm at the back so pretty happy with it. Haven't really roughed it around corners but I try not to anyway. Don't trust this thing at speed and corners at the same time.

I took a page from Chris's book and took a pic while installing a missing PCV pipe on stompie today. Thx to chris for spotting it on the XR8

Oh yes @ Henry330 sorry for only replaying now but this is the stuff I'm using to fix the dash. I wouldn't recommend it. I'm sure there's better stuff out there. I use it and once sanded down smoothly I clean and apply plasti dip for the finish.

Every Time
This is the parking right under virgin active by mall@reds. Can't stand my car being in the sun. Especially when stompie has no aircon rather just an enormous heater :biglol:

Some more shots I took right before parking her at the neighbors place. No space for her at our house with the 540 back in town.

Nope, was just there while his son moved his car out of the garage, open garage setup, they have 4 cars parked there. With mine there now it's 5. Paved car park. It's tucked away under it's woolly cover for now.

Thx Moranor, That's right. Family pressure I suppose. No one has love for the E30 aside from me. Having 2 daily's (E46 E34) is a bit silly I'll admit, but having committed so much to the E34 It'll be suicide to sell her.

As long as neither bankrupt me I'll try my best to keep them all for a while

Ok so here comes the bad news... and new future project.

So as some of you should know by now at the last ice cream run I ended up being towed back home by Racing snake.

The long weekend we went away and the next day after we got back I started tackling the little monster.

Tapet covers off and bam!

Next, Intake Mani to go to get to the head.

Then everything usually goes well until there's one culprit that doesn't play ball. The exhaust mani had to go next but the one stubborn bolt and nut just didn't want to budge. I used the right size socket and still managed to strip it. So with the limited working space one has lying on your back and in the deep reaches of the bay I managed to hack and drill parts of it away until the early morning hours.

Luckily it's out now. What a relief

And finally the news I was expecting all along
