Hi gents,
Can anyone give me an estimate of the costs involved and where in Pretoria I can rebuild or overhaul an M20B20 E30 320i auto. The car barely drives at the moment, I start it every now and then but never drive it. The engine has no power whatsoever, oil leaks every where, water leaks, no power steering, the auto transmission works but also leaks ATF and is delaying gear changes, centre bearing makes a scarry noise, front brakes don't work, I suspect the brake booster even the ignition is broken, there is a button to start the car. Wiring is even worse, the brake lights work when they feel like it, most of the electicals like the windows don't work, cluster sometimes works sometimes doesn't.
I want the electronics to return to its original state because it will be my daily driver for at least the next 2 years to travel between Pretoria and Jhb before I make it my project car and retrofit an N52b30 engine and 8 speed ZF transmission.
Please point me in the right direction. It will be greatly appreciated.
