Cant believe people still use 6 different bolts lying around the workshop when a bolt costs about R20 maximum at the dealers.

This is what happens when a car becomes "cheap to buy", the thought is that it'll be cheap to own aswell... maintenance slides... too many "blou-draad" repairs... next thing you know it needs MAJOR work (usually tons of little things) glad this car is with someone that by the looks of things has the budget to sort it out properly...

The new owner has allocated a hefty sum towards its restoration......not enough for me to retire but darn close :)

That it is.......as a previous owner of this particular car commented "Do you think there is enough gasket maker left for the rest of humanity to survive after this engine was built by the previous, previous, previous.......err....... genius"

They were.

It took some time but they were although we only bought the rear one as the front one was ok.
If you wish I shall put the word out.
