Hi guyz
I'm new to this forum and I have a few questions that i'm sure some one might assist me with. My younger brother has bought a non runner e28 535i which lacked ignition spark directly from the coil, he got the car at a steal and the main reason why we took on this particular headache was due to fact that it was rarely equipped with the original Alpina kit. I have looked at every possible aspect I could think of to get this thing firing but still no show. I've tested all relays which was fine, the jumper on the starter fine, we've replaced the tdc and speed sensor on the bellhousing, the ecu has gone in for testing and repair still nothing, the coil has been replace and the wiring has been checked and passed for continuety. Bar the spark issue the only other thing wrong with the car is the fuel pump and I dont see how that will affect spark. We r trying to stay away from fuel management which will definately work but with my experience and in my opinion that option is not feasable for my little brother as it will make the car rather demanding on fuel. Any ideas any one?
