Dual Mass Flywheel Replacement on 130i

Hi Fanatics

Is it worth doing a single mass flywheel to replace the dual mass flywheel on a 130i N52B30 I feel it’s more appropriate to a diesel as they make a lot of torque and vibrations low down the rpm as compared to a petrol?

The dual mass flywheel smoothens the vibrations from the engine but can get a bit jerky on takeoff it is annoying me. I did the CDV delete a while back, but it didn't help that much or maybe it's me I can't drive a clutch.

Throttle response is perfect but ruined by the jerk I've now adjusted my driving to letting out the clutch way slower than I'd like it's really affecting my smiles per gallon.

Has anyone ever done this to their cars?
Does it affect the transmission or make a lot of noise?

When i had my 3l Z4 i was considering it but eventually settled for a new dual mass flywheel from Goldwagen (LuK) for about R5k and had the job done at ZF who installed the flywheel and supplied a new release bearing, clutch and clutch plate. Total cost incl labour and all materials was about R13k. Clutch was 100% after replacement.
