Dual 57mm Exhaust for e46

Hi

I may have to replace my current exhaust system done by Viper. I was thinking of going for the dual 57mm similar to the UUC TSE3 model. Any thoughts?

Cobus (Abel's son) sez they have done a few fitments like this before but asked me to send him a pic of the UUC system to make sure we were on the same page.

I seen another thread talk about Wildcat. I am on their page now.

Does anyone with a dual 57mm live around PTA?

it got banged up. may need a patch up but insurance recommended full replacement.

Just spoke to Tristan at Wildcat. recommended dual 50mm instead. sed I may experience a drop in torque with the 57mm if you dont have other mods like a gasflowed head etc. Waiting for his quote of about R3500.

okay. Cobus at Viper recommends an X-pipe to help balance the cylinders and Sav recommended TNT. Spoke to Tom who did not do a dual 57mm before on the model in concern.

I am confused :cursin:

I removed the stock 330i header's, bolted on E36 328i catless headers, R600 from scrapyard. Then had Wildcat build a dual 57mm s/s freeflow system for R3000 and 5year warranty.

Hi Gizmo,

Thanks so much for the photos etc. You sound satisfied with the setup. Is there a reason why they did not go independent through the whole system? you have 2 x-boxes installed.

I would love to get an idea of the sound of it. Any idea what the power gains were if any?

Check out a Remus back box to add onto the rest of the system (secondhand will be cheaper). Was contemplating putting on one of these. Sounds really good without the drone.

It's kak expensive (From R5000-R10000+ a few years ago). That's why if you can get a secondhand one it's better, about a 80% discount :)
