ok yesterday playing around a bit(was actually bored)if you press the dtc button,it switches it off, correct?

but if you hold it in for a while a symbol comes up on the dash showing a circle with an arrow, around a triangle, what does this do?

it felt a be quicker on pull off.

Now go have some fun :)

I turn my ASC(I dont have DSC or DTC) off when I need a quicker pull off.. as it intervenes way too easily..

Cause when it intervenes it takes power away so with it off you would be able to get a faster pull off with a bit of wheel spin.. Not too much though, as dropping clutch @ 5000rpm just leaves you with too much tire spin..

The trick is to find the best revs to pull off in your car..

Now on our E90 its an Auto, so no point turning it off as a auto 320i does not spin the wheels on pull off anyway...

Now try it on a not strait line (private, Empty test track recommended)

That's Why I like the skidpan, lets me test it & see how the car handles with out traction control so I know for if it happens in the real world..

But on some road I know, I do play around a bit.

But you are lucky in that you have the 2 stages..

So play with DTC on.. (1 short push, Until DTC shows on dash) this will allow some slipping but not completely off..

im running tires on the back now that have a slightly higher diameter to the front and im liking it alot the dtc does not kick in as quick because it thinks the wheels are spinning slower than they really are :)

I had that, but 195/65/15 @ back & 205/60/15 @ front...

Now I got 205/60/15 all round..

But need 2 tires soon, Measured & have 1.5mm tread left :)... Its starting to be a bit squirmish in the turns when a bit wet..

But will be replacing with 205/60/15 so I can keep them rotated correctly.. so as to improve their life, as currently I have different makes on back & front & backs wear too quick...

So will get same same.. so I can rotate nice.. every 5000 Km's
