If blood tests could be done within hours with results, while someone is being held, or if a more accurate breathalyzer was available with no possible tampering, I would vote on holding them for a certain amount of hours if found to be over the limit by a certain percentage. You did the crime, now sleep it off in a cell. No bail amount is enough to justify the possible death of an innocent road user when involved in an accident with a drunk driver who couldn't care less.
