Doing Enatis checks on vehicles

Morning

Sad to report the system is still not functional. I have found out the reason is that City of Tshwane has always used a limitless user license agreement with Enatis, and now RTMC wants an individual license agreement, and Tshwane is refusing to do this. Till then 95% of our Enatis users are logged out of the system till further notice.

Sorry to everyone who has sent me emails to check vehicles. As soon as I am able I will reply.

Thanks

Francois

Great news!!!!

Enatis license issued, my terminal is one of them. The updates will run over the weekend, and by Monday I will be up and running and able to reply on all requests.

Please be patient, as I have more than 300 enatis related emails to reply to, some of which are for ABSA and MyWay, so they come first.

Enjoy the weekend everyone.

Hi all

Just to inform you all that I will be on leave starting 14 December 2023 until 08 January 2024.

While on leave I would be unable to do Enatis checks, so if you guys decide to buy anything over this period be sure to double check all documents as well as condition of any car you are interested in buying.

Good luck to all and happy holidays.

Hi all

Please note I have transferred to a new section and unfortunately I am awaiting the licensing and setup of Enatis on my new PC, which I have no idea how long it will take.
This means I am currently unable to assist with Enatis queries.

I Will reply as soon as I am operational again.

Sorry for this

Evening everyone

Update: I transferred from the TMPD control room where I've been for many years, to the Armoury, in the position of 2nd in command ( no pay raise but a new adventure).

New office is a mess, was a storage and dump site for broken assets since 2007, so clean-up was started 27 June, and Saturday 29 June my amazing wife helped me from 09:00-16:00 to move out broken crap, scrub the place, and vacuum the carpets 3 times. I had to rip out out light fittings that were falling out, and report to OHS, and on Monday 01 July I occupied the office.
My new pc is actually 5 years old, but working, my email is up and running, and the request for enatis access was sent through today.
There's 3x steel 2 door lockers in the office, and I've managed to clean out 2 of them today, sent a wheelie bin full of paper for recycling dating back to 1997.
There's still a store room as well, 6m x 2.5m big, that's full of crap, will add a pic to show what still is ahead of me to get it 100%.

I'm really happy having struggled for 8 years to get the transfer, and having a boss with a vendetta against me block me, to have the transfer happen, and I'm sure I will make it a great success.

Thanks to everyone I know for the support, and to everyone I've helped in the past, and whom I am still to help, you will know me as someone who still goes by the value of ethics of Protect and Serve, and to go the extra mile to help where I can. I truly believe that I can make a difference, and having my family, both at home and here at bmwfanatics behind me help me every day to strive to better myself.

Enjoy life. Love you all.

As you can see this is what I still need to sort and clean out. The files goes to the roof the full length of the room, and I need to go through it all to see if I can scrap and recycle it.

...but I will win the battle...

Congrats on the new gig. Wish you success.

Good luck with the clean up and sorting things. A rule that generally works, ā€œIf I haven’t needed it in the past 12 months, it’s going to the binā€. Occasionally you have to buy the same thing months later because . . . Of cause now that you don’t have it anymore you need it . . . but that’s very seldom the case.
