Doing Enatis checks on vehicles

So I've been back at work, be it on a shift rotation.

I've helped quite a few people, and I'm still shocked and surprised by the crap out there, and some even from reputable dealerships.

Tested a Golf today with 173k Kms turned back.

@Coisman

There is a lot of junk out there. When we were looking for our E90 you helped save us a few headaches.

Some of the cars were accident repaired and back on the road with some 20-50k km cut.

One particular car we saw for sale with 140k km. When I checked it out it had mileage tampering fault in the cluster and had mileages ranging from lowest 140k to 285k km

Hi Coisman

Is there a way you can check the enatis on a car I bought recently, just want to be comforted that nothing is out of the ordinary?

Thanks!

Hi all

Just to inform you that the Enatis system server has been offline since Friday 16th September. The system is still offline today 23 September.

I have received emails for vehicle checks but are unable to assist.

As soon as the Enatis is back online I will reply on your emails.

Just make sure to comply with the guidelines as set out in post 1 of the thread.

Thanks

Hey Coisman, any news on eNatis?

I need to check on a traffic fine but PayCity just hangs when searching by the notice number, presumably because eNatis is still FUBAR.

Try phoning our TMPD office, ask for the fines section 0123587095
But if enatis is still off then yea, fines checking are also off

Hi everyone

So some good news, and then some bad news.

Good news: I am taking some well deserved and saved up vacation leave. This year was hectic, not just for me I take it, but for all. I normally encash my leave, but decided this year I will take it, and rest out. I won't be going away, will be at home mostly, but sleeping late and slouching around will be all I need.

Bad news: My leave starts essentially this Friday after work, so from Saturday 10 December i will be on leave. I will only be back at work 09 January 2023. This means that for that entire period No Enatis Checks from my side. I know this service I give is essential in todays market with me having saved ALLOT of people from crooks, so I am sorry and hope that whomever buys cars will be sure to check it out properly.

In the mean time enjoy the holidays.

Thanks

Good day all

Please note that as from yesterday afternoon (12 April 2023) Enatis is giving an error message, thus I am unable to do any vehicle checks.

As soon as the system is up and running again, I will reply on received emails.

Thanks

Francois
