I never had success with this eNatis check, but it really did look like many people were saved from buying lemons thanks to this

Bud me also, i did this check on auto trader and paid the 100 bucks yesterday... gives you absolutely zero info that you can actually use... same with the trans union one.... now Coisman's one was always a real help and he would give you advise ... and all for the price of 0... :fencelook:

So...howcome?
If there is a specific reason whereby if a resolution can be met, would you reconsider?

Coisman a huge help to me in my hunt just over a year back! Great friendliness and also so great to see a government employee willing to go the extra mile to help the normal citizen.

Thanks a lot Dude!

I never actually tried the ones on the net. Mostly relied on HPI checks and trans union ones as I couldn’t get eNatis info

Coisman has always been helpful in this regard, doing checks for anyone who asked at his own will and in his own time. It was a selfless service to the community and everyone was always fortunate enough to have the opportunity to ask him for this assistance.

Bear in mind this was not a forum service but merely that offered by an individual. Thank you Coisman for this once more. I'm sad that you are now denying this service to all here based on circumstances revolved around forum politics.

Regarding the "staff reshuffle", I will make an announcement on that shortly.

I hope you are not leaving the forum also

This might be a possibility... It will totally depend on the staff reshuffle that was promised, but I am not going to go into the politics of it in this thread, although it played a major roll in my departure as Admin.

Let's wait and see. I have allot of trust in Charles.

Cois assisted me numerous times and helped me with a case where my identity was used by a company to purchase a vehicle. Eventually got the matter resolved. :ty:

Sorry to hear Francios, I can't see myself buying another car without getting the info you used to provide. Too many conmen out there, not enough stand up men... :dunnoanymore:

Good Morning All

The main reason for me not being able to do Enatis checks was because we were being audited, and I needed to get clarity on my rights to give out certain information...so in other words when and for whom am I allowed to do Enatis checks, as well as what information I am allowed to share.

Obviously for my work purposes this is not an issue as my fellow Metro Police members are allowed to get this information, but in order to assist general members of the public is where I needed the clarity.

So here is how I can assist:

1. Enatis queries can be done by me in order to assist members of the public.
2. The query must be submitted to my work email address: [email protected]
3. You need to add the following information to the email in order for me to assist you:
3a. Your name and surname.
3b. The reason for the query.
3c. Any of the following - Registration number / Full VIN number / Full Engine number / Register number.
3d. A description of the vehicle - Colour, Make, Model.
4. A contact phone number.

Once I have this information, I can assist in the Enatis query, But this is VERY important:
I AM NOT ALLOWED TO GIVE OUT ANY FORM OF PERSONAL INFORMATION RELATING TO THE CURRENT OWNER / PREVIOUS OWNER / CONTACT DETAILS / ADDRESS / PHONE NUMBER / ID NUMBER.

What I can give you is:
Amount of owners of the vehicle.
Was it stolen.
Last km reading on last roadworthy.
Status of the vehicle (code 2 or rebuilt)

If you guys can accept this and work with me on this, then I can once again assist from my side with the Enatis checks.

PS: Feel free to send me questions via email, who knows, I might be able to assist you in other matters in other ways as well.

Thank you

Francois
