Yuben - while your defence of Ralf is admirable, this advice was given to him IN PERSON by myself and two other members here during a visit to his shop almost TWO MONTHS ago. While the advice was received, it definitely was not implemented, looking at what happened yesterday.

What I find to be an annoyance, we have lots of people for and against the points of view being put forward, though the reality of all of this is that the person at the centre of the uproar (Ralf) hasn't even issued so much as a thank you to all those that tried to help, at the very least.

This also serves to alienate the forum further - gratitude goes a very long way in terms of dealing with business the honourable way. People have not seen that, nor have they been awarded any explanation as to why everything turned out the way it did.

My suggestion:

Ralf - You need to have your say. There is a lot ruling against your favour, so I suggest that you come fully clean here and be very honest with those that have supported you. I will make mention that people in the industry talk, so naturally there are quite a few stories floating about as to how Speedway actually got into this rut.

I'll leave it to you to comment and set the record straight.

Anyway......Ralf you a really cool oke to chat to but other than that business is going nowhere....

I was asked to support this event by fellow fanatics and this was my reply:

1st time at Speedway. I had a chat to Ralf and arranged a meeting with him. I took a break from work and Ralf pitched up 3 hours later.

2nd time. Again Ralf was late but one of the guys said they will do my exhaust. From 1 hour i ended up sitting at speedway for 5 hours. Took me another hour to get back to work in CBD to fetch my bag. from not having the correct size pipes, doing it incorrectly i eventually just left the shop as it was too late. I met ralf at the charity event last year and he asked me how is the exhaust. I showed him the mess ups with the major one being 50mm pipes on one side and 60mm on the other. Ralf showed me no remorse he walked away.

All this to support a fanatic which i had to take to another place to get done all over again for half the price and closer to me.

What has been said above is exactly true Ralf does not manage, if the worker had to tell him to go sit in the office and leave them alone he would do it.

Managers that sit in an office and not give a damn gets robbed. I have seen it happen. Money goes in the workers pocket.

Thats why i did not attend this event.

I agree with your point, however, the peace has to be kept somehow. While all honest posts are available for Ralf (just PM me and i will copy them all into a PM for you), i think that some posts are too harsh to be left open for debate here. Besides, this is not the thread or place for it. Rather PM or go see Ralf personally and offer your advise.
