Just want warn everyone not to use the above paint shop. My pride and joy BMW 3.0L went in a year ago to be repainted and returned this week in worse condition than when I left it in their hands . Electrics ruined( indicators, power windows, some lights not working) , all trim pieces further damaged , interior damaged , interior trim badly installed , items missing , screws and fasteners missing, bonnet doesn't latch etc. The paintwork was poorly done with numerous scratches , stains and areas that have not been polished.Also paint on items of trim and on indicator lights. The car was repainted over areas that were dented and the doors are so badly hung that they stick out . The front grill was dented , replacement cost 300 euro , tool box missing , replacement cost 350 euro, power window switches missing , even the rubber mats I had in the car are gone.
The car is almost a write off and will have to have some serious money spent on it now as the paint has to be redone as well as the damage repaired. The only thing that was well done is the wheels which were done elsewhere. To Dent Doc's credit and honesty it seems they will waive costs but I would not recommend them as they are not able to do anything more than removing small dents . What a bitter disappointment after a year of waiting. i will be taking it to my old panelbeaters Goldstar in Ophirton and start ordering new parts from Germany . The car is too nice to just abandon.
