Not sure if I missed it, too lazy to go thru the thread again. What spec are you looking for?

Current spec is as follows:

Xenons
PDC front/rear
Sunroof
Professional Nav
Harmon/Kardon Sound
Extended lights package
Extended cluster display
Performance exhaust & CF spoiler (these obviously can be added after)

Looking for basically the same as that. Most of them I'm not happy to compromise on (just the sunroof makes no difference to me).
I'll PM you.

i would have literally lost it with the dealership & salesperson. Go throw a computer of their desk and demand a R50k rebate or they can take their car back.

I had poor service from SMG in canal walk, they drove 14litres of fuel out in 29km with my M5, the shitstorm that went down after that was nobody's business. Today , dealer service levels have seriously declined from yesteryear , and I've been driving this brand for almost 20 years , so I can compare...that car would go back if it was mine, BMW SA must give you a very clear answer as to why backyard repair shops are used, if they don't satisfy you , send the transcripts of the encounter to BMW AG....make sure you have an email for all discussed...

Slight thread derail. I have for all the years if have had BMW's made it quite clear that NO-ONE is to drive my car out of the premises onto public roads. Secondly, I put a line through the T's & C's when I sign in. This often causes consternation on the part of the service check in person however I simply politely state that I don't accept them not being liable and responsible for my car while it is their care and custody.

As regards the not driving outside their premises, I simply state that they are not insured to drive the car and when they bleat about "we can't test drive it" I point out that test driving it after an oil change isn't necessary. Finally, if indeed they do change anything that requires a test drive they can contact me to confirm the work is complete and I will come and test drive the car with their person in the passenger seat.

I have seen how cars are "test driven" by technicians and it seems that the more sporty the model, the more likely it is that its going to be "properly test driven":rage:
