Longer overdue updates:
Let's see if I can get back into this forum "lifestyle" lol.
Hell where to start:
E46 is still going strong just had some mandatory cooling issues sorted out. Atm the odo is at 273xxxkm getting ever closer to the 300xxxkm mark. It is starting to really show that it is 21 year old daily but I still really enjoy driving it.
The latest mod was z4m/3.0 oem short shifter and zhp knob. The short throws are pretty sweet.
And a big old wang, cause why not.
The MX5 was sold a few years back, mainly because of the frustration to source parts and honestly it's just a little bit too slow. New owner is a good mate of mine, and I still see the car regularly.
Last pic I took of it under my ownership.
125i E82, SO's daily.
This car has been a delight to own and has been trouble free and super reliable, in the past 6 years we've added about 50xxxkm and it is on 73xxxkm atm.
SO is not to keen on mods etc. but she wanted a boot spoiler and "white" halos.
Next lady for a shave: 2016 R1200R LC
Basically the love child of a S1000R and GS1200. Bike has a GS motor and frame but "superbike" suspension. What you end up is a pretty simple roadster.
Really loving this thing with 125bhp and 125nm on 200kg, it ain't no 300kph machine but it sure is a great assembly of parts. It has all the bells and whistles (tyre pressure sensors, throttle modes, dynamic suspension modes, cruise control, heated grips etc. etc.). The BMW Cape Motorrad Club is also very active, with lots ride and overnight trips.
Most challenge trip was to Sutherland in June.
I am also using it to as my track toy, which is always heaps of fun.
Mods on the R1200r:
Puig handle bar mirrors
Puig tail tidy
Puig top box mount delete kit
Custom Barker slip on
Sp Phone mount (removed the massive bmw gps cradle)
USB power socket
Centre stand delete
Replaced the touring tyres with pirelli rosso corsa 4's (one set used, 8000km on rear tyre and about 12000km on the front)
Sport Rider Seat (80 higher than the comfort seat, my hips needed more freedom)
Windscreen delete
Next up:
Need some "sacrificial" engine covers as I managed to drag the head at my last track day. Never thought would happen but it did, oops.
Four peg replacement, the touring style pegs have dampers/rubbers which I can feel moves around underfoot. Will look into getting some s1000r or s1000rr pegs to give me better grip when needed.
Other than that, it is an absolutely stunning motorcycle, with some great character, which is very adaptable with minor mods.
Spec on the day of collection
Current Spec
Random pics of the R1200r

Here is a video of the R at the track.
Finally the most recent addition to the "fleet", 2012 X5M E70 with 79xxxkm on the clock.
Unfortunately the gearbox gave up the ghost 4 days after collection, however the dealer was stand up and sorted it all out. The ZfHp6 has now been fully recon'd and the "tank" is driving wonderfully again.
Not planing any major mods etc. for this as I want to use it as daily for next 10 years.

And yes parking space is problem atm lol
