The colour of the door is more grey than white, which is unfortunate, but life continues. I made the fitment adjustments and now everything fits properly and it has that nice bmw door shutting sound again. Which makes me happy.
Also installed one of those FM bluetooth 12v socket thingies, seems to be working fine for calls and music. It will have to do for now. Also no more cables on my dashboard. Will share some pics tomorrow evening once I have cleaned the interior. Also planning to redo the tinting on the lights tomorrow.

I finished up with the waxing at 8:30pm tonight:hammerhead:

And I forgot how epic the wheels look when they are clean and shiny :inlove:

Nice progress bro. Now that it's clean, the colour of the Rims might be growing on me...

I just need to take the time to get some sunset shots, you will then see the reflections in the wheels.

Sunday I cleaned out my interior so much better to be in that space again.

Also managed to get the tinting done, very happy with the results. Used vht night shades 3 coats on the orange bits and one coat on the red bits and then 3 coats of clear.

Unfortunately the headlights still had cleaning chems in the fine cracks which cocked up the headlights, these will be sanded down and resprayed this week.

The first "mod" for the 125i will be installed, eventually :hammerhead:

They lenses have been sanded down and tomorrow night they will get a few layers of clear. Thursday night reinstall once die paint is dry.

Switching daily/weekly between the mx5 and e46 is an amazing change in characteristics, you can really feel the extra 600kg but then that 6pot is ooohhh sssoooo smooth. The mx5 I just can't drive like normal person you just want hurl it into corners :smilebounce:

Really loving both cars, I have still not grown to enjoy the e82. It drives well and feels good but does nothing for me. I blame the autobox : fencelook:

Qyou should get the software on the box upgraded bro. There an app called XHP, which really transforms that box big time. Might be something that makes a different to you, then again you a dinosaur like Divio, a manual snob

We must take baby steps with my SO and mods on her car. :roflol:

Once we have a few cosmetic things in place I would not mind to do some software both box and engine. From what I understand that motor has the potential for 190kw like the 330i?

Unfortunately the intake manifold they fitted to the 125i is not the same part as fitted to the 330i/130i

So while the engine is physically a 3.0 as found in the 330i, the intake is more restrictive, and wont unleash the full 190kw with software only.

correct, there was one at the 2019 CT Dyno day

Here's what you are looking for

n52 dyno_7926078565.png

The 130i is mine, and the 125i is golfer23 here on the forum.

Quite popular mod in the UK.

The N54 TB is larger, and the intake is more straight forward, low down drive-ability is sacrificed for high end power, the results are confusing, but I think it might be down to the different fuel ratings and quality

dunno if this is allowed here, but here's a link

Shot bro, mods for 125i will be very slow going......... Ultimately the decision is the SO's choice.

But did you notice the massive amount power my mx5 made that day :roflol:
