CRAZY BMW parts prices!!

So my car is going in on wednesday and possibly i need to replace valvestemseals and shocks! Im out of MP just wanted to get an approximate quote to know what im in for.
Just got off the phone with BMW and i can just aswell buy a new car for that price! So note to self -- NEVER KEEP A BMW OUT OF MOTORPLAN -- !!! Crazy

Take it to one of the JHB BMW specialists... BMW does not want to work on cars out of MP...

Dont mind at all! Think its good for everyone to know how crazy they are. I think i should admit them to my psyciatry ward and chain them to bed to give them meds!!
-Just the rear shocks R6495! If shock mounts or any other part needs replacing thats extra!
-valvestemseals ill post the price later as soon as i get quotes from other mechanics(dont want them just to chop of 1000 and them give me almost the same price) Sorry sure most off the guys wount do that but you do get chancers!

Doc, speak to AXIS re Koni FSD shocks. Don't fit the OEM shocks.

mine also out of m/p
well i was shocked when i had to replace my bulb for the rings on the lights,if i bought the bulb,it wouldve cost me R505.00 excluding vat

as the car went in for a brake fluid flush asked them to change the bulb,cost me R458.72 with vat including labour.

seems cheaper to have them do it sometimes,wonder if the service technician organised discount
