Clock Sign On Dash - E46

So I was just starting the car up since it’s been standing since Monday and when I turned it on I saw a weird clock on top of the inspection KM and started to the car to heat it up... after a while I switched it off and it did the same thing just “ON” the ignition switch..... I googled and got two possibilities, either the braked fluid, coolant or both needs to be changed

So where do I buy brake fluid and how much? This will be my first time doing this DIY :tiptoe:

Both of those would require a bit of work. Flushing a cooling system being the easier one of the two still requires a thorough inspection of all components.

Brakes... In all honesty something I’d leave to a mechanic to do. While bleeding isn’t the most difficult job to do, it’s time consuming and requires a bit of fiddling and experience to do.

Brake fluid (DOT 4/5) and premix coolant you can get from any Autozone, Midas, Goldwagen, or dealership. Price varies according to brand.

Take it in to a dealership and have them do the break fluid flush , Its not that expensive , I think I paid around R350 or so for mine last year . I found it to much of a headache to do this task . I heard it needs to be bleed in a certain way , if you do it wrong you could mess up the asc/dsc etc ( im not sure how true that is ) So I just booked the car in at BMW SMG and had them do it . By 12 the car was washed and ready.
