Not sure if this was the correct place to post.
But thought it best as I'm hoping to catch the attention of people in the greater Cape Town area.
Well with this being my first stride into the BMW arena (for ownership) and my first time owning a diesel vehicle, I thought that it may be helpful to try and establish where diesel can be sought for at the cheapest possible price.
Obviously it's great to get some more mileage because of the fuel.
But I found myself thinking, "Why not try and extend the saving with a cheaper price per litre?"
So the cheapest I could find iirc is @ R7.14 per litre at a Caltex Service Station in Mitchell's Plain at the corner of Highlands Drive and Vanguard Drive.
I've honestly not been proactively looking as yet, just started looking around as I've been driving.
Does anyone here driving a diesel car know of any service stations which compete for their diesel clients?
I thought of truck stops
but not sure if it's viable or if the quality of fuel is up to scratch...
