Car trouble

Sigh, all is not well in paradise.

I have a 2008 BMW 135i, 48000kms, bought 2nd hand, still in motorplan and stock aside from an AC schnitzer exhaust.

Recently the car has started "chugging" if pushed too hard, losing power at high revs and with a horrible exhaust note when reving. At first I thought it was because I may have pushed it when it was cold, but yesterday I drove a good 15-20kms (oil gauge was about 90-100degrees) and then only pushed it in 2nd and 3rd. The rough exhaust tone disappears after a few mins of conservative driving and revs like normal.

Not sure what it could be, but any ideas?

Get the recalls done:
HPFP
Coils
Injectors

And do plugs. Previous owner obviously did not bother to take it in

Update: Car is at BMW, they diagnosed engine misfire as well. They replaced injectors and spark plugs but haven't gotten to the bottom of the misfire. Any ideas what could be causing it?

Ok, picked the car up, all washed and awesome looking. Drove from Sandton to Sunninghill, let the car warm up. Got into Sunninghill and pushed 3rd and a bit of 4th.. Check engine light comes on and power is gone :( Called the guy, switched the car off then on and the light disappears.

Will have to see if the problem persists, so will do another run later tonight. Hopefully its a once off issue.

Update: Did some serious pushing tonight, and no problems at all. Hopefully thats the end of it. Will monitor the situation and if no new problems, then JB4 it is :)
