Looks good, same colour as my E90. Don't make the same mistake I did - tell them to leave the car alone, no cleaning, NO POLISHING etc. Otherwise like me you will have to most likely battle with correcting swirl marks on that Sparkling Graphite colour. But as long as you use a good and sensible cleaning process you shouldn't have swirl marks and so on. :thumbsup:

another question...read on another post somewhere that the trim inside is easy to replace. IS this possible?

Not crazy about the wood trim, how does one go about changing that? Do you find there are guys on the forum that swop their silver trim for wood trim and vice versa??

if it works anything like the trim on the e46 then it should be pretty easy to remove.

If you have even a slight incling of mechanical knowledge, i wouldnt even bother wasting money extending the motorplan, i absolutely love working on my car, and its the labour prices that kill, not the parts prices.

Also had them change the trim on mine when i got it last year, felt wood trim didn't do a E90 330i any justice for an under 35yr old much better with Aluminum trim, although did cost R13k for BMW to swop - got it included in total price. Took them a day to do.

Mine's got the wood trim - maybe a bit "oldieworldy" but I like it. Also has the light grey interior which I know isn't the most popular, but the overall package is nice and balanced. When I was in the process of buying mine there were a few minor scratches on some of the interior plastic bits on the doors etc and the salesman said that they can have it fixed. They have the items removed and somehow re-coat or respray them and at first I was a bit nervous but it came out really good - really can't see or feel any difference between the repaired and original parts.

Swirl marks do come out with some elbow-grease, but yes, it is a prone to show swirl marks colour. Looks great though when corrected and nice and clean! Strange colour too - in some light it is slightly brown or slightly purple, or just plain grey.

So when are you taking delivery? :thumbsup:

That is really silly. The wood trim is 2x as expensive than the "aluminium", they should have given you R13k discount...
