Nice  :praise: My aim for my M50 build is 500whp. what internals are you running? any head work done aswell?

Forged rods and custom pistons with a bigger turbo i am sure you"ll be able to get there i have seen a m50 with 500wkw! But i dont think its going to be very reliable though

Hi! I have a 325i e36 M50 savspeed turbo now i am wondering if it can still hold its ground against some of the newer stuff?
I obliterate GTI's at the lights but i am sure a 335 with some mods will kill me?
Can anyone confirm what i think?

Nice ride bud.

Do you know what times this beast does on a 1/4 mile.

Its fun... When it starts boosting at 1.3 bar you crap your seat and the passenger tries to keep his nails out of the dash... I have no idea what it runs on the 1/4mile ...

But i have seen some impressive stuff from supercharged E46 M3's on the tube so i am a bit wary of jezebel...

Ha ha... WHen I get Jezebel back, we can have a run.

My chrome moly piston rings have only done 2500km and apparently need a shitload of abusive driving for them to bed in properly, so my compression is down in all 6 cylinders and I currently have blow by. So will need to do a few more thousand KM's before she's all sealed up properly. Let's hope it goes by quick.

The plan is to run the car at 4psi for now, then boost 9psi when I feel more comfortable.

I know MattQ did 374kw on the flywheel with her down in Cape Town with an Active Autowerke kit running 6-7psi and water meth.

I'm running VF engineering kit which has a bigger Vortech V3 supercharger and I am wanting to go 9psi in the next few months and try get that 570hp figure that the kit is rated for. That's 350wkw up here in JHB.

Not sure if we can get it, as those figures are done on USA pump fuel, so water meth will be needed, but I'm not holding my breath.

That being said, those SAVspeed Turbo cars are potent. So if you hand me my ass, it's all good. I'll just have to get under Jezebel with some spanners to get more boost. ha ha ha.

hey man.

I definitely think you will still hold your ground against the newer stuff. With the kind of power you are pushing it is a force to be reckon with! A well modded x35i will be a good run. Especially the ones equipped with DCT.

Hopefully my GTi never comes across you at the robots hahahaha....

Care to share some more info on your build?
