Caliper paint... What colour?

So i gave my wheels a really good clean this weekend...

PW + prepsol + de-tarred + prepsol (again) and finally some RimWax :thumbs:

No pics unfortunately :fencelook:

Thing is, the hubs look a bit rusty and the calipers, well the calipers look tired!

Hubs i'll leave silver, but what colour you reckon should i paint the calipers?

Planning on spraying the wheel Anthracite...

I think red is too common - leaning toward black.

And with the wheel sprayed anthracite, i reckon it would look good too! :thumbs:

I change my vote form Black to Yellow now that you mentioned the anthracite wheels and colour of the car...

If you still have the stock calipers, I would just keep them clean, it is the best they will look.

i dont like painted standard callipers thats why mine are dirty grey :rollsmile:

must try and find a picture for you guys of a white modded scirroco with white rims and white clialipers.

Between red and yellow lies orange - l would say a tint towards the red side. Donno how you are going to keep them from looking good for a long period. A pracrical color would propably be the darker shades of whatever you choose.

I would also leave stock calipers unpainted.
