Not at all.. I do miss my '09 Bluewater metallic 320i MSport :thumbs: Very sexy, very nice seats, very cool car.

I just could not keep replacing clutches every 20k kms so I had to let her go before MP expired and was too heavy for my 170KM daily trips.

For R80k-R120k, in my opinion you rather look for a clean E46. For that price you might find a run down E90s:fencelook:

At R120k, you can probably pick up a gem of a 330i(bias :inlove

I invited him to come to Gansbaai and drive both, my 320i and my 320d (he don't have to buy my 320i, just get the feel of both cars)

So he can make the decision

Think it will be nice, get out of the one, immediately into the other one, to compare the two

I think you could find a decent E90 320d for R120 000. It'll be closer to 150 000kms but if you keep your eyes open you can find one.

Why not just get a 320d and have it remapped. And it will be ALOT faster than the 323i and 325i.

I owned a 323i E90, then bought my 320d E90. I loved that sound track of the 323i, once it was going it was awesome, effortless overtaking in 6th gear, fuel consumption on the open road was around 8l/100km and in town about 10.4l/100km. My 320d around town averages between 5.5 to 6.5l/100km, depending on how I drive, open road I get around 5.1l/100km at 140km/h.

That said, if I had top choose again in te range from 320i and 325i, I would take a 320d every time. Great car, sufficient power and awesome economy.

I'm considering someone's E90 320d. If the service history looks in order and I can get someone to go take a look and everything checks out, I'm very inclined to take it.
