It's got just shy of 258k on the motor, no idea about the transmission, the car does have a tow hitch indeed.

They were and are epic tow cars, sadly the transmission does take a bit of hurting from it

According to them, it's the valve bodies inside the gearbox, is this something that could be done without the replacement of the entire R60000 transmission?

Sorry to hear about your worries man. These cars are common as chips, so you might have better luck getting a gearbox from a breaker?

Car is back and going like a bomb, however while waiting for the gearbox to get sorted, we have made other more family friendly plans vehicle wise. So! I'm going to be putting it up on junkmail and gumtree and the like soonish, but I'd like a fanatic to have first preference.

There are some minor scuffs, thanks in part to the guys that did the gearbox (between them and the towing service, nobody wants to take responsibility) and the valet service who will be repairing the small ding on the driver door.

Aside from that, all the buttons work, all the panels function and the LED displays are 100%. It is the business tape version, with a 6cd shuttle, I haven't changed it for a dynavin or similar.
