Hey guys. How with I know the difference between the normal auto and the DCT. What should I look for I want the DCT. Does the normal auto have Launch control and pedal shift. Sorry if these are silly questions I'm a bit new to all this. Thanks

Auto = normal gear selector and silver paddles

DCT = fancy gear selector and black paddles

I am thinking of buying a 2nd hand 135i normal auto. Can it cost me a lot?

Go for it , I have a 2013 N55 135i DCT and I absolutely love it , I have the BMW performance exhaust it give it a bit of a louder tone , but didn't really feel much of a power difference ...the thing I love about this car is the way it goes through the gears and picks up speed from stand still on a pull off without sport mode and all traction controls on it reaches 210+ in no time in mid 4th gear if I'm not mistaken.
it does drink fuel but that depends on how you drive ....
but don't take my word for it , drive it and you will love it

I also bought mine recently...choice between G7 GTI and 135i....

the 135 is a way better drive, feels much more solid on the road. I have a DCT...its awesome, wont get a performance car in manual again unless i am going to do track days...

I have a question tho...to BMW performance exhaust or not...
the standard exhaust sounds good, would like it a bit louder but dont want to lose the deep tone for loudness...

135i FTW .........like Dax said....its thirsty! Have mine for around 2 weeks also and I'm on my third tank....and I don't do much mileage...

Hey guys How heavy on fuel is this car. My current Astra H GSI makes about 210 wkw but is quit light on fuel when im cruising. What fuel consumption do you guys get when you are cruising on the freeway. I know it will be heavy when I'm footing it.

N54 is quite heavy on the juice. you can expect open road only to be around 8l/100km's with cruise control at 120-130km/h. Mixed will be around 12.5l/100km's and town will be around 14-15l/100km's.
hammering it will see that sit around 16l/100km's

I getting around 11.6 ATM in traffic and a bit of stop start...335i manual....but that's driving speed limit....hard driving I get up to 15l/100km. N55 stock
