The rain just stopped at my place - hope it's going to be a bright, sunny day tomorrow.

We will meet you guys at the braai area - I will be driving the Glacier Green E39 with BBS chrome wheels.

in our area there are guest houses,and there is saint georges hotel not 1,5km away from the reserve

I have had bad news this morning. There has been a death in the family.

I was all ready, packed and ready for the dam, but I need to go to Jo'burg as the cremation is this afternoon. (We usually have the funeral on the same day)

However, I will be seeing you guys, hopefully! I am going to make a stop at Rietvlei on my way to the funeral and get to the braai area for a quick meet up, and then continue to Jo'burg.

Won't be able to stay for the braai unfortunately - the funeral is at 2pm.

I don't have anyone's number, so please give me a missed call or sms on 082 840 8504 so I have someone to call when I get there!

Great meeting some of you guys and my family is looking forward to Tuesday and the next get together (Swartkops, Groenkloof etc)

Hope you guys had a great time.

Needless to say, the latter part our day was quite sad - attended the funeral and got home early evening.

But as Cois said, some things are out of our control and that we are all a part of the cycle of life.
