You could also look into opening up your current headlight and fitting a set of aftermarket angel eyes (which is the normal way of getting angel eyes on headlight that don't come standard with them).

....I don't have the xenon's and I'm quite thankful I don't,

Why?

After hearing what it costs when things go wrong with xenon, I feel safer with the halogen lamps haha.

Nah, xenons are not that expensive, plus one you see the amount of light you get out of them you will wonder how you ever drove with halogens in the first place :)

Yeah Xenons rock!:)

And the E90's xenons are cheaper to maintain since they use d1s bulbs which includes the igniter and the bulb in one unit vs d2s bulbs of the E46 which doesn't.

Aw now don't go makin me feel jealous! :mmm:

I'll just continue pretending xenon's aren't that great so I feel better, haha.

By the way, are any of you from Kensington B in Randburg? One guy near me always seems to have a variety of BMW's in his driveway, I think he does work on them, would be quite cool if he is one of you

Where can we then purchase the stand-alone rings that fit onto the non-Angel Eye lights?

These are very good quality and are some of the best you will find, a bit more expensive than some of the ones you will find locally, but trust me its worth it.
And be careful of CCFL (fluorescent) angel eyes, they have a tendency to break, a lot.

Thank you Sankekur. So what you're saying is get the WL LEDAE and have someone open my current light housing to install? A little worried about who would do this as the E90 has a sealed housing. If anyone in CPT has had this do e to their car please can you let me know where you had it done with a contact number?

Those aren't for E90 btw. I'd like to see someone try though :D

Oops :), well it just serves as an example though, I am sure there are probably AE kits out there for the e90 a good google search should help in determining if there are any :)

But who know maybe these will fit the e90 or can be made to fit :dunno:

I've looked around both jlevistreetwerks and umnitza websites and have not found any Angel Eyes for the E90 cars that can be added to te standard housing. Seems the only way to go for me is either breakers yard or a new unit...caaaching!!!
