Thanks to everyone that came. Was a nice big group of 35 cars. We had 3 dealerships (SMG, Forsdicks and Auric) on the run, a big thank you to them for joining us. And for Junaid to bring his new M135i (fully spec'ed), which he took delivery yesterday. He left the 1M at home.
Who didn't see the Lambo Aventador at the robot?
Thank goodness the road block was for the oncoming traffic and not us. It would have delayed us.
Pity about the museum running out of food :nonono: and Paul's E36 328i overheating, both caused the delay of doing the rest of the run from the museum. Paul apologizes for the delay.
Both delays caused a few fanatics to go home early. We had 12 cars doing the Franschhoek pass, then down to 8 cars for the tunnel and Du Toits pass.
Bugger, I apologize for us turning right, instead of left, at the Monument to go to the Pass.

I had 5 people in the car from Franschoek till we got home at my place, Paul waited for over an hour for us to come home. He had to sit in my boot :roflol: when I took them all home. 6 people in a 3-door 130i:

Charged-WP and I watched the GoPro footage now. Pity the battery died so soon. It lasted till the museum, I wasted 24mins of video cos I had left it on by mistake while we were at the Engen 1 Stop.
I got Nick to video the Franschoek pass with my phone, he didnt do the whole pass. Got bits of it.
I will get Philip to edit the footage of his GoPro then he can upload it. He needs to cut out the chats that NikSky, Six cylinder and I had throught the trip, and the wasted 24 mins of footage at the 1 Stop
I used almost a whole tank of fuel today. Did just over 300km's
