Hey guys. I am going on a mini run that way tomorrow. I want to scout the picnic spots. Make sure there are no surprises when we get there!! We have 2 spots lined up. I will post the position of the one we pick.
One is the park in Ceres. The other is tweeds toll on the pass.
The 6 is still in the shop

Work has been really hectic the last few weeks so really looking forward to getting out on this nice long cruise with the crew...:joy:

This is going to be awesome. The Route is all good, with some minor roadworks between Slanghoek and Ceres. That is a good road actually. All the passes are looking good. We came back via Tulbagh - Wellington and that is a good road as well. Guido Pass is a really nice drive:thumbs: I did not properly time it but I left at 12 and was back by 5. Granted I was looking around for picnic spots and talking to people, stopped for lunch aswell. (And didn't break any speed limits... well not many)
Picnic spots are looking to be a bit of a challenge but I have someone getting back to me.

Picnic is a Go! Koelfontein Farm Site Have made an exception for us and will open for an hour or so on Sunday. It is a small farm that grows fruit and produces wine. They have a lovely shaded grass area under a big oak we can use for the picnic and the tasting will be open while we are there for those that are so inclined. P.S. They have several award under thier belts and the Chardonnay is tasty.
Please bring a picnic blanket to sit on.
Weather looks to be partly cloudy and cool. Perfect for engine performance.

guys im gonna have to sit this one out, the 530d e39 isnt ready yet, the e32 has one last annoying shimmy (90% suspension replaced) that i think might be a bastard to pin down and will work on my nerves on the long road, then theres e28 520 which has been around only 2 weeks but i wanna check her out thoroughly before any long trips... and work so hecktic right now, 2 days left... too much too do.. too little time. next time 4 sure!!
