Good evening all.

Just wanna say hi to all. I'm a BMW virgin. For some or other reason I always swore I would never buy a BMW, and about a month ago, my life changed. I am sorry for all the years I hated. Turns out, those were many years I wasted.

I absolutely love my new baby "sharkycrystal". It's a 2013 M135i 5 door hatch, and all I can say is WOW!

Anyway, just wanted to check in.

Thanks to all for the warm welcomes. I have a question I was hoping somebody could help me with. The plastic engine cover on my car. Is it REALLY necessary to leave this thing on. When I look at it, it just screams "heat soak" to me. Plus, it weighs frikken 1.85 kg. (I've already taken out everything that is not needed in the car. I know I could just loose some weight myself, but hey)

I took it off yesterday, so if there is any reason anybody can think of, please let me know.
