Hi gents,

Forgive me if this has been asked before.

Looking at changing the brake pads and disks on my f30 320d.

I came across a few threads mentioning TRW/textar and I plan on inquiring from imcomex on pricing.

Please advise, what disks should I use? Would meyle be a good option? And where can I source these disks?

Thank you

Hi bud I took someone's advice on this forum when I first got my car and stuck to oem brakes.

With fanatics pricing from BMW Midrand the oem parts come very close to aftermarket as well. Maybe get a quote from Deago and take it from there.

I agree with above as well - Deago at BMW Midrand.

If you do however decide to go with Imcomex they can do pads and matching discs. TRW.

Used the Hella brand from Goldwagon. No issues

I would personally go with TRW from Imcomex as it is OEM on certain BMW's so the quality is decent. I recently replaced my E90's shocks with the OEM Sachs shocks that the car came with and ABM quoted me more than double the price of Imcomex(after the discount) ,for the exact same part.

You can call BMW Midrand (011 697 4700) and ask for parts department (Deago is in that department).

BMW Midrand does not do the "BMW Fanatics" discount anymore, but they still provide a discount when asked.
I recently replaced front brakes and disks, OEM as well.
