Brake Fluid Leakage

Hi guys, Hope someone can help

I have noticed a spot in my garage of what looks and smells like brake fluid. There is a leakage somewhere definitely. Car went in at BMW Midrand today for them to have a look and they tell me they can't see any leakage :hammerhead:

I have a very steep driveway so I don't know if this can be a contributing factor. Can there be too much brake fluid?

My one brake line started a slow leaking close to the hard line when I changed to braided steel lines.
Just had to tighten it down really hard (Thought i was going to strip it)

This car has 2k km. Can this be an issue already ? Doubt it but who knows?

Bud.

Brake fluid has a very distinctive taste, burns your tounge with a cinnamon kinda taste.

Are you sure it is brakefluid, There is no such thing as an overfill, and its a closed circuit, which means its a serious...

This is what I would do:
Once sure that it is brakefluid -
Get this car in the air, remove all brake calipers and inspect for leaks.
Check all brake lines
Check the brakefluid level often.

Regardless of what BMW say about the aircon, I am not sold on that. There is something that's not right. The leakage is still there. It's def not coming from the aircon. For the last two days I had my aircon switched off and still there is a leak.

I am gonna put some sort of a bowl underneath the car overnight and see if I can collect some to take to them.

The stuff is very oily although def not oil, and seems like not brake fluid either. It's leaking from the driver's side of the vehicle, almost under the steering wheel.

Can this perhaps be power steering fluids?

I thought only Fords have leakages :=):
