brake disks and pads - e36 M3

I have about 5,000km on my "new" beemer... been quoted R15,400 for all round replacement of brake disks and pads with OEM parts (mechanic is independent, not stealer).

Is this reasonable? Are there any good alternatives?

Out of curiosity, how much does the parts alone work out to ?

I got an invoice from the previous owner for my E36 where he had the front and rear disks and pads replaced at the stealers for about R9000, parts worked out to about 6K, the rest was labour, then again M3 brakes are different to the 328i

Haven't got the split...there'll probably be labour plus small mark up on parts.... I will most likely go through Gizmo and DIY :=):
