Brake disk question

Hi guys

I have a slight vibration when applying brakes and i have narrow it down to the brake disks that needs replacing ( i don't want to skim).
My question though relates to the existing pads that still have a lot of life left.

Can I just replace the disks with existing pads or do i have to replace both at the same time?

Ideally you want to replace the pads as well, as they could be uneven from the old disks ...therefore introducing a vibration on the new disks

This, ideally replace both at the same time, but if the pads are fairly new then you can reuse.

I was in the same situation last month, I opted to change the pads and not reuse.

Thanks guys. is the vibration on breaking a common issue? @Big_L you had a same issue as me and did replacement of disks solved the vibration?

I am not sure if it is a common issue, but once I replaced the disks and pads, vibration was gone. Not sure where you based but I purchased the discs and pads from Star Brake and Clutch in Edenvale, great pricing. I used Deselra discs with EBC pads.

If reusing the old pads, "resurface" them using P100 sandpaper on a flat surface until the pads are nice and flat
