I would just like to know what you guys think and have experienced?
I've got the er charge pipe and synapse bov on my car and uts amazing, sounds great and works beautifully but it heavy expensive!
I know forge makes dvs but it doesn't give you the sound of the bov, but works and costs only R2700!
This weekend I saw a homemade job on the black 135 I raced and he says it works fine and it sounds great, didn't even cost him R1500.
He basicalyy just blocked off the the dv holes with rubber hose blocks and tightened it with hose clamps and put in a turbonetics bov!!
Its a much cheaper solution the buying a chargepipe and bov and seems to work?
What do you guys think of this..?

You made the right decision for sound.
I prefer the Forge DVs because it gives the car the stock appearance and can easily be installed/unistalled using the factory chargepipe. Rennzport has a set of the Forge DVs available now.

Doing your own plumbing is fine but when you start running serious boost on the car then it is better to go the tried and tested route AND you don't want to worry when and if the pipes will blow off...we prefer the STETT pipes but your choice works great as well.

I have the Forge DV's on my car and it definately makes a difference in "holding" boost better. Car feels stronger on the top end as well.

Agree with RennZport on the charge pipe especially if you going to do water /meth injection.

I got Forge Dv's. Cannot say I noticed any difference. I bought them for peace of mine but the previous time I went to Tarlton the one was jammed open and gave me boost issues. Apparently they suppose to be serviced which I neglected to do. I feel more comfortable with them than the leaky stock ones though. I also do not like driving down the road going psh psh psh.

Also read they need to be serviced, not sure whats entailed. What colour springs are you using on the DV's ?
