A used F15 M50d, and spend the rest of your miserable life with your favourite mechanic and broke, or both. Because let's face it, the seller will never tell you the real truth behind why they disposed it off.

I thought the M50d set up is quite reliable??

I believe these vehicles failed a QC check and this is the reason for the demolition.

Not sure how true it is though. Seems like a waste, I'd imagine most components could be salvaged and reused though.

There was a statement issued which I read on Facebook but can't seem to find.

Basically it says the failed QC story is a hoax and these are test vehicles with no enatis documents that cannot be registered and they cannot be stripped for parts as well since it is from a vehicle not registered.

Such an absolute waste. Apparently normal motor manufacturing policy and happens across all brands.

Oh man, that sucks.
Would make for some nice track cars - perhaps not the SAVs although even those could be fun!

Can confirm this, I visited a site where they manufacture the assembly lines for some of these vehicles and they had a bunch of components which were produced specifically for training/commissioning purposes, bound to be scrapped once the production lines were commissioned. Some of these had induced faults, to allow the operators to pick up on potential faulty parts, etc.
