My “new” (preowned) BMW F30 330i

Wow it’s been a while since I was on the forum, I really think the new changes are awesome.

A lot has happened in my space,
So after selling my 328i back in 2020, in order to pursue a property deal (that didn’t work out), I was left stranded and well saddened. So decided to search the web again for another decent buy that would be better than the previous one. So the search was on for a 335i, but man oh man was it hard to find any decent ones for a decent price. I then decided to give it a pause, especially with the lockdown happening etc. Fast forward, lockdowns eased and after using my aunts car a few times the urge came back again and I started the search again. Came 2021, I found a 2016 F30 330i 40Year edition and man oh man was I taken by the paint job (tanzanite blue) with the extended leather ah it really gives the interior a whole new feel. So jumped on the finance application, got approved only to find the car was sold same day. Took me back to the time I was hunting for my initial car. Fast forward and I got a call from a dealer in Bedfordview and well one thing led to another and well oh well she’s parked in my garage.
she being a 2016 BMW F30 330i, mileage slightly higher than when I got my previous one (132xxxkms) but I wasn’t too bothered as this is one car I want to keep.
who knows it will probably be one of those cars my child will one day learn how to drive with hahaha.
Plans for her (for now) are more cosmetic
1: ///MPerf goodies (already contacted @FiRi@Rennzport )
2: Larger idrive screen (not sure if I should go OEM 8.8” or aftermarket 10.25”)

mechanically I am happy that’s she’s good, but I will be looking into doing a gearbox service early next year.
I would like to say thank you to @Coisman for assisting with the background check on the car, I really appreciate it big time, and all the other members that have shared a lot of knowledge and passed it on, it has really made buying a BMW (or any other car for that matter) easier and I really hope that I’ll be able to contribute as much going forward.
It feels like I never left haha.
will definitely upload more pics, and better ones once she’s clean

Congrats Bud :D

not many f30 330i's on the forum...keen to hear how long term ownership goes with this.

On paper, the 330i offers a good package, and current prices aren't so bad on them (compared to diesel variants and 35 or 40i models)

Congrats, wish you many happy miles. I would def go for the Android 11 10.25" headunit. Its the one mod I regret not doing right at the beginning.

Thanks.
Will definitely look into it, I really miss having a bigger screen with split screen functionality.

Thanks will make sure to keep the thread updated. Haha the way I’ve been trying to get my hands on the 335i or 340i, but they just seem to escape me. I was considering a 330d but couldn’t find the right one.

So… as I was getting ready to purchase the ///M Performance goodies from @FiRi@Rennzport, my brother in law decided to surprise me with some of the items.
Feeling like a kid who just got Xmas gifts, I went ahead and started trying them on. Man oh man was it a challenge, as it is something I’ve never really embarked on, however it was interesting especially because the Mrs wanted to help. So I managed to fit the grills, front lip and boot spoiler.
Fitment on the right side skirt isn’t perfect, and although it bugs me like nobody’s business, I’ll live with it until I get a new set of side decals.
i didn’t document the process, But here are some of the photos of the transition.
Apologies for true bad quality photos, was using my iPhone.
