Hi Guys
Dropped my car off today for gearbox service & transfer oil service (x drive). I was impressed with the service and staff were very knowledgeable. Was also going to do the diff oil but BMW croyden close to me didn’t have stock and I was quite pressed for time. ZF told me that I can buy the oil and come back to them and the labour will be free. My experience at bmw was a funny one, both the counter salesman and technician were shocked and lost for words because I was looking to buy diff oil for my car that just recently hit 100k mileage. Apparently “if it ain’t broken don’t fix it” was the long and short of their advice. Read enough on the forum, got advice from friends and did research to know preventative maintenance is the way to go.
Kudos to Aaliyah (ZF workshop) and Mo (workshop technician) for assisting and explaining everything in detail. Work done was also quick and efficient.
